Berry Refreshing Smoothie Drink

This smoothie combines watermelon juice or strawberry juice with vanilla frozen yogurt, raspberry sherbet, frozen raspberries and strawberries, and frozen banana chunks (if desired)
 

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 oz. (+ more, if necessary) of watermelon juice or strawberry juice
  • 1 c. frozen vanilla yogurt
  • 1 1/2 c. frozen raspberry sherbet
  • 1 c. frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 c. frozen banana chunks
  • 1 1/2 c. frozen strawberries

Method

Pour 8 oz. of juice in blender. Add frozen yogurt, frozen raspberry sherbet, frozen raspberries, frozen bananas, and frozen strawberries. Blend until smooth. Add more juice, a little at a time, to reach a smooth--but thick--consistency. If the smoothie seems too thin, add strawberries one or two at a time until a thick--but thoroughly blended--consistency is reached.

 

Notes: Bananas can be omitted if desired; just increase amount of other fruits. If alcohol is desired, simply reduce juice amount by half and add either Raspberry Vodka or Strawberry Vodka.

 

Number of Servings: 1-2, depending on size of glass
