Blackberry Cheescake Smoothie

A quick and easy smoothie with blackberries, cream cheese and vanilla smoothie mix--top with whipped cream for a special treat.
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2-3/4 cup fresh blackberries
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 scoops vanilla smoothie mix
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 4 or more scoops vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream, optional
 
Method

Blend berries and milk briefly in blender. Strain berries through a fine sieve into a bowl mashing with back of a spoon to extract juices and remove seeds. Rinse blender and return berry milk to blender. Add smoothie mix, cream cheese and ice cream. Blend until smooth. Add whipped cream to top if desired.

 

Notes: If you like seeds, skip straining. Can substitute strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.
