Champagne with Orange Sorbet and Vodka

This blender drink combines orange sorbet or sherbet with grated lemon peel and vodka. Champagne is added and the drink is served in flutes.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 quart orange sorbet or sherbet
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest
  • Chilled vodka
  • Chilled champagne

Method

In a blender, combine 1-1/2 cups orange sherbet or sorbet, 1-1/2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest and vodka. Blend until smooth. Stir in champagne and divide between 4 chilled flutes. Serve at once.

 

Notes: Use a large capacity food processor, if making more than 4 servings at once.
