Cranberry Tea

A spiced, light syrup is used to steep tea bags, and the liquid is then combined with cranberry juice concentrate, chilled and served over ice.
 

Ingredients

  • l qt. water
  • l2 whole cloves
  • 2, 3" cinnamon sticks
  • l/3 cup sugar
  • 4 regular-sized tea bags
  • l2 oz. can frozen cranberry juice concentrate, undiluted
  • Ice

Method

Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan. Pour over teabags in large bowl; cover and steep 3 minutes. Remove bags, squeezing gently. Stir in cranberry juice and chill. Remove whole spices. Serve over ice.

 

Notes: This is very easy-to-make and delicious on a hot summer's day. It's always a big hit.
