Ingredients:
| 4 cups | Water |
| ΒΌ cup | Granulated Sugar |
| 2 tsp | Sea Salt |
| 5 cups | Freshly Popped Popcorn |
| 4 oz | Vodka,chilled |
| 4 oz | Butterscotch Schnapps |
| 4 oz | Honey |
| 6 oz | Cold Half-and-half |
Directions:
To make 8 ounces of the popcorn syrup, bring the water, sugar, and salt to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the cooked (popped) popcorn and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain broth using a fine mesh strainer, while gently pushing against the popped popcorn with a spoon to push out most of the liquid. Discard the kernels. Mix the popcorn syrup with the chilled vodka in a food processor add in the half-and-half. Blend on high speed until mixture is frothy. Mix the schnapps with the honey and spoon drizzle the mixture inside each glass while twisting the glass to coat inside. Pour the vodka-popcorn frothed mixture into each schapps-honey coated glass.
Helpful Tips:
You can use microwave popcorn (but omit the salt if your microwave popcorn is salted) for the syrup step or freshly popped popcorn. This makes great shooters too! With the first sip your taste buds will be happy and you can't help but smile. Only thing missing is the carnival.
