Chopped banana is combined with coconut milk, banana liqueur and coconut liqueur and frozen. The next day it is removed from the freezer, chopped and blended with soy milk, honey, and powdered protein, vitamin C, and Echinacea.

Ingredients

  • Bananas, chopped - 2 each
  • Coconut milk - 4 tbsp.
  • Banana liquor - 1 tsp.
  • Coconut liquor - 1 tsp.
  • Soy milk - 1/2 cup
  • Honey - 2 tsp.
  • Powdered protein - 1 tsp.
  • Powdered Vitamin C - 1/4 tsp.
  • Powdered echinacea - 1/8 tsp.

Method

Combine the first four ingredients in a small plastic bowl. Mix slightly together, cover and freeze overnight along with 2 tall wine or water glasses. The next day, bend and twist the plastic container and remove the contents on to a cutting board. Chop into 1/4-inch pieces, and place in a blender along with the soy milk, honey, protein powder, vitamin C and Echinacea. Blend on high until smooth and homogenous. Serve in the reserved chilled glasses.
