Ginger-Melon-Ade Smoothie


Watermelon and ginger in a smoothie. What a refreshing combination.



Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup coarsley cut fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 cups fresh seedless watermelon cubes
  • 2 cups frozen seedless watermelon cubes

Method

In a blender, puree ginger and lemon juice. Add the fresh watermelon and continue to puree. Add the frozen watermelon pieces and blend at the highest speed. Add additional sweetener of your choice if desired.

Number of servings: makes 2 generous servings
