This alcoholic drink combines sherbet, frozen limeade concentrate, rum or gin, 7-Up and crushed ice, whirled in the blender until slushy.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of lemon-lime soda (such as 7-Up or Sprite)
  • 1/2 pint (1 cup) lemon or lime sherbet
  • 3/4 cup frozen limeade concentrate
  • 6 oz white rum or gin (3/4 cup)
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Method

Blend all of the ingredients in a blender at high speed until slushy. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a twist of lime peel.
