Pineapple Cooler

This drink uses canned, crushed pineapple and its liquid, placed in a freezer bag, frozen and broken up. This is combined with milk, sugar, vanilla and ice in the blender.
 

Ingredients

  • 1-15 oz can crushed pineapple
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes

Method

Freeze the pineapple by pouring the fruit and juice into a one-gallon freezer bag. Try to lay it flat so that it can be broken into small pieces later with a kitchen mallet. Pour the milk, extract, sugar, ice and the pineapple into a blender in that order. Pulse a few times then blend till smooth.
