This slushy punch contains cherry gelatin, lemonade concentrate, and pineapple juice, which is frozen and scraped into glasses or punch cups, then combined with ginger ale.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 3-oz pkg cherry Jello
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 12 oz can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 46 oz can pineapple juice
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 2-liter bottles of ginger ale, chilled

Method

Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Add frozen lemonade. Stir in pineapple juice and cold water. Freeze in a large container. To use, remove from freezer awhile before serving. Scrape and spoon the icy mixture into glasses or cups; fill with ginger ale.
