Sesame Citrus Sunrise Smoothie

The flavors of tahini, orange juice, banana, yogurt, and cream cheese are blended together to make this smoothie drink.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 ounces each) mandarin orange yogurt
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, cubed, at room temperature
  • 4 cups orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seed paste (tahini)
  • Garnish--mint sprigs

Method

In a blender container place the ingredients. Blend till smooth. Best done in 2 batches. Chill till serving time; serve in glass mugs with mint garnish.

 

Notes: A high protein drink especially good for breakfast or as a quick pick-me-up.
