Spicy Shrimp Shooters

Homemade bloody Mary mix is kicked up with shrimp, tomatoes, and olives. What a great appetizer that is fun for any occasion.

  • Servings: 12

Ingredients:

12 Large Cooked Shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 Large Clove Garlic, minced
4 Tbsp Fresh Lime Juice, divided
2 tsp Celery Salt
½ tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper or, to taste
1½ cups Bloody Mary Mix
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1-2 drops Hot Sauce, optional
12 Large Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
12 Large Pitted Green Olives

Directions:

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine shrimp, garlic, 3 tablespoons lime juice, celery salt, and pepper. Seal bag, turn several times to coat shrimp, and refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer. Remove shrimp from marinade and pat dry. Discard marinade. String a shrimp, a tomato and an olive on a cocktail skewer. Place one skewer in a shot glass. In a small pitcher, combine bloody Mary mix, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and remaining lime juice, then stir to blend. Fill each shot glass with a skewer about 1/2 full with bloody Mary mix. Serve immediately.
