STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE with Frangelico

Frozen strawberries are blended with strawberry ice cream, hazelnut liqueur, half-and-half and a little corn syrup, and served in sugar-frosted glasses.
Ingredients
- Granulated sugar 1/2 cup
- Frozen strawberries 6
- Strawberry ice cream 2 cups
- Frangelico liqueur, chilled 1/4 cup
- Half-and-half 1/2 cup
- Corn syrup 1 tbsp.
- Wild strawberries, optional 10

Method
1. Put the granulated sugar in a coffee cup. Dip two champagne glasses in water 1/2-inch up the rim. Dip rims into the sugar. Put glasses in the freezer 2-3 hours before ready to serve. 2. Chop the strawberries and combine them with the next 4 ingredients in a blender. Cover and blend on medium-high for 15-25 seconds until smooth. Pour smoothie into frosted glasses. Top each glass with 5 small wild strawberries if desired.
Notes: This is a great smoothie. Don't be fooled by this interesting combination, because it works very well. You can substitute frozen yogurt for the ice cream for a healthier version, if you wish.
