TANGERINE CHILLOUT with Grand Marnier and tangerine ice cubes

Tangerine juice is combined with frozen OJ concentrate, orange liqueur, and orange syrup. Half of this mixture is refrigerated, while the other half is frozen as tiny ice cubes for the drink.
 

Ingredients

  • Tangerine juice 2 1/2 cups
  • Frozen orange juice concentrate 1/2 cup
  • Grand Marnier 2 tbsp.
  • Orange syrup 2 tbsp.

Method

Mix all ingredients together and chill half of the mixture in the refrigerator. Pour other half into a mini-ice cube tray. Freeze ice cube tray along with tall glasses about 1 hour. When ready to serve, strain tangerine mixture through a fine strainer and pour into the frosted glasses. Top with a few mini-ice cubes. Serve with long straws.

 

Notes: VARIATIONS: FOR TANGERINE SNOW CONES: Double the recipe and pour liquid into a snow cone machine. Process according to manufacturer's instructions and scrape shaved tangerine ice into paper snow cone cups. FOR TANGERINE GRANITA: Place liquid in a small casserole dish; freeze and scrape with a fork every 45 minutes for 3 hours until firm and slushy.
