Several fruits (banana, mango, papaya and pineapple) are blended with frozen vanilla yogurt & orange juice into a smoothie with a tropical touch.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen vanilla yogurt
  • 1 banana, peeled and frozen in chunks
  • 1 cup cubed ripe mango
  • 1 cup cubed ripe papaya
  • 8 ounces (1 cup) orange juice (frozen until slushy)
  • 1 cup chopped fresh pineapple
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Coconut shavings
  • Pressurized whipped cream in a can

Method

Place all ingredients except coconut shavings and whipped cream into blender; blend on low for 1 minute then on high for 1 minute. Pour into glasses. Top smoothie with desired amount of whipped cream and coconut. Garnish rim of glass with a piece of fresh pineapple.

 

Notes: Place orange juice into freezer prior to making smoothie until it forms a slush. I prefer to use no-pulp orange juice.
