Method

Combine tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and simple syrup in a large cocktail shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake and then strain into an 8 ounce martini glass with salted "Tico or Lucas" rim. Drop in jalapeno for garnish. Then add Tabasco and olive juice.

Notes: This is the perfect after work cocktail or B-B-Q drink. To get the Tico or Lucas salt to stick on the rim of the glass, pour it onto a plate and use a lime wedge to run on the lip of the martini glass; lightly press and turn glass until evenly covered. To make simple syrup use 2 parts sugar and 1 part water. Boil water then dissolve sugar in water; remove from heat; cool and bottle.

Number of Servings: 1-2
