Watermelon Smoothie


Low fat yogurt and fresh fruit are the way to a healthy start in your day. Blend them all together and get going.



Ingredients:

  • 2 cup chopped seeded watermelon
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries, stemmed and cored
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt (non-fat or low-fat)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2-4 tablespoons fat-free half and half (or low-fat milk), as needed
  • Additional ground cinnamon for garnish (optional)

Method

Place the watermelon, strawberries, yogurt, honey and cinnamon in a blender and blend on high speed until desired consistency. Add half and half or milk to achieve desired consistency. Pour into glasses. Garnish with additional cinnamon if desired. Serve.
